We are excited to announce that resident artists Jabari Cooper, Raymond Lewis, and CeeJ Maples work will be shown in "Curses! Foiled Again! The Art of Swords and Sorcery" at Del Ray Artisans Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia. In addition to featuring the work of our talented resident artists, Art Enables operations manager, Amy Kitchin will also have a piece in the exhibition.
"Curses! Foiled Again! The Art of Swords and Sorcery" will run from October 6-28, 2023 with daring swordswomen, haggard bog witches, bevies of mythical beasts, and many more artist interpretations of the fantastic! Del Ray Artisan Dr. Erica Hughes curates the exhibition.
Join us at Del Ray Artisans Gallery for the opening reception on Friday, October 6, 7-9 pm to meet the curator and the artists. Fantasy costumes are encouraged!
The exhibit runs October 6–28, 2023 at Del Ray Artisans Gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are Thursdays 12-6 pm, Fridays 12-9 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 12-6 pm. The gallery is closed on October 1 and October 29, 2023.
