Art Enables Resident Artists Featured in New Del Ray Artisans Exhibitions
We're excited to share that several Art Enables resident artists have work showing at Del Ray Artisans in Alexandria, Virgina.
Helen Lewis, Raymond Lewis, Calvin "Sonny" Clarke, Chris Schallhorn, Eileen Schofield, and our talented Operations Manager Amy Kitchin all have work in the exhibition "Drip, Lines, Splatters, and Splash" at Del Ray Artisans in Alexandria, Virginia! And a special congratulations to Raymond Lewis who won The Color Schooled Award for Artist Channeling for his piece, "The Garden Has Eyes;" and Eileen Schofield who won the Curator's Award for Outstanding Interpretation for her piece "The Oak Tree." The show is on view through May 28, and you can check it out online.
Then, June 3-26, resident artists Toni Lane, Chris Schallhorn, and Charmaine Jones are both featured in "Afros & Abstract" exhibit celebrating the individuality of body, space, imagination, and time. This exhibit hopes to provoke interest in the visual beauty of a culture that reaches the expanse of humanity and a movement, encapsulating the amorphous state of lines, color, hues and tones. You can learn more about that show here.
