We had a wonderful time chatting with the artists of "Mystery Quilt" on June 2, 2021. What a joy it was to hear from the artists about their work in the show and how they employ familiar, quilt-like qualities in their own material languages of painting, drawing, and collage. After the talk, artist Marc Pekala led a short workshop that invited guests to join him in his process of repurposing found materials to make quilt-like compositions. Check out the video now and join in with a pair of scissors and a newspaper, magazine, cereal box, or anything on hand that can be cut into smaller pieces!
