Art Enables Saturday Workshop: Make Your Own Picture Album
March 28 | 11AM - 3PM
Celebrate storytelling through art at Art Enables’ March Saturday Workshop: Make Your Own Picture Album. Inspired by Egbert “Clem” Evans’ solo exhibition “Extended Family,” this hands-on workshop honors the work of a beloved, longtime Art Enables resident artist whose drawings are deeply rooted in the people and relationships that shaped his life.
Participants will create their own handmade picture album or sketchbook using simple materials such as cardboard, paper, glue, and needle and thread. Whether you choose to fill your album with family memories, sketches of the people around you, or an imaginative story of your own, this workshop offers a space to reflect, create, and preserve your story.
This free, drop-in workshop runs from 11 AM to 3 PM and is open to all skill levels. The activity is best suited for teens and adults, though younger creators are welcome to participate with an adult. Stop by anytime during the session to craft a meaningful book that tells a story uniquely your own.
Art Enables is committed to providing access to everyone. If you require accommodation during your visit, please make a note in the RSVP or email us at info@art-enables.org.
