Art Enables Saturday Workshop
Mini World Terrarium Making
February 28 | 11AM-3PM
Step into a tiny world of wonder at Art Enables’ February Saturday Workshop, Mini World Terrarium Making. Inspired by the new and delightfully unexpected exhibition “Shrimps on the Mountain,” this hands-on, drop-in workshop invites participants to explore scale, contrast, and playful juxtapositions by building their own miniature terrariums. Using glass vessels, small plants, rocks, and figurines, you’ll construct a tiny landscape where mountains rise, surprises appear, and imagination takes the lead.
Choose your elements carefully or embrace the unexpected. Stack your “mountain” rocks, add greenery, place a shrimp (or another tiny surprise), and watch how unlikely combinations come together to create visual magic. Whether you’re a seasoned plant lover or simply curious to try something new, this workshop offers a relaxed, creative space to experiment, connect, and make something uniquely your own.
Drop in anytime between 11 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, February 28. The workshop is free and open to all ages. Art Enables Saturday Workshops are designed to be family-friendly and welcoming to artists of every skill level. Please note that this activity includes small objects and figurines that may pose a choking hazard and is not recommended for very young children.
Art Enables is committed to providing access to everyone. If you require accommodation during your visit, please make a note in the RSVP or email us at info@art-enables.org.
