Rediscover the joy of scratch art in our November Saturday Workshop, Scratch That! Scratch Paper Art. Inspired by our new exhibition “Jamila Rahimi & Jessi Binder: Equinox,” this hands-on workshop invites artists of all ages and skill levels to explore the surprising depth of a nostalgic medium.

Participants will learn how to create their own scratch paper using layers of crayon, paint, and a scratching tool, then dive into intuitive mark-making to reveal vibrant patterns and unexpected textures beneath the surface. What begins as simple play often unfolds into something rich, expressive, and wholly personal.

Drop in anytime between 11 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, November 15. The workshop is free and open to all ages. Art Enables Saturday Workshops are designed to be family-friendly and welcoming to artists of every skill level.
