Mandala Magic: Exploring Doodle Art

Art has a way of revealing the worlds we carry inside us, and sometimes all it takes is a doodle. Join us for our October Saturday Workshop, Mandala Magic: Exploring Doodle Art, where we’ll dive into the intricate and intuitive patterns of mandala drawing. Inspired by our annual exhibition “Outside Forces,” this hands-on workshop celebrates the repetitive marks, circular forms, and playful details that echo through outsider art and contemporary practice alike.

We’re thrilled to welcome Alia Bakry, an Art Enables volunteer and accomplished visual artist, as the workshop facilitator. Alia will guide participants through the process of building layered mandala doodles, helping you transform simple lines and shapes into a work of art that feels both meditative and imaginative.

This drop-in workshop is free, family-friendly, and open to artists of all skill levels. Stop by anytime between 11 AM and 3 PM to discover how a simple doodle can unfold into something magical.
