Art Enables is excited to announce "Outside Forces" 2024, our 18th annual exhibition highlighting the work of self-taught artists. It is an honor for us to organize this exhibition each year in celebration of incredible self-taught artists around the country.

Please note: this exhibition is not limited to artists with disabilities. If you are a self-taught or outsider artist, we’d love to see your work! 

Important dates:
Friday, July 19: submission deadline
Weds, July 24: notification of acceptance
Wednesday, August 14: all artwork received at Art Enables in Washington, DC (can be shipped or delivered in person)
Tuesday, September 3: the exhibition is open to the public!
Saturday, September 7, 5 - 7 pm: Opening reception at Art Enables
October 26: final day of exhibition
