Collaborating with Area Artists and Creatives on Exhibitions and Shows

Founded in 1790, Washington, D.C. has served as a catalyst for American politics and the American dream for centuries. It also serves as the home for the federal government’s 3 branches: the Capitol, White House and Supreme Court, along with countless monuments, historical buildings, and state-of-the-art museums. Every part of D.C. is steeped with history and memory. Art Enables now seeks artwork relating to and depicting the nation's capital! Possible themes include scenes of local D.C. spots, historic and famous D.C. figures, themes of capitalism, politics, and government, etc. Anyone is eligible to apply to this open call, even if the submitting artist does not live in or around D.C. Accepted artists will exhibit in Art Enables' galleries in Washington, D.C in March and April 2020. $5 fee to apply, deadline is January 15th.

If you have an idea for a collaborative/joint show with Art Enables Resident Artists, or if you are interested in exhibiting, please give us a call at 202-554-9455 or email Gallery Manager Allie Frazier at afrazier@art-enables.org.
