2nd Sat. Workshop: Recreating Modern Masterpieces on May 12th, 1-4pm

Join us for a FREE 2nd Saturday Workshop on May 12th from 1 – 4pm. Using acrylic paint and collage, bring classical art masterpieces into the modern century in your own style with local artist Ashley Dequilla. Free, all materials provided, and ALL ages welcome. Once your masterpiece is complete, stay for the free opening reception for our two newest exhibits from 4 – 6pm!
About the Artist: Ashley Dequilla is a Filipina-American artist and educator who currently resides in Washington DC. Her paintings address her world views and experiences, but also explore her heritage and spirituality. She attended the College of William and Mary and the Maryland Institute College of Art, and has shown her works in the United States and in the Philippines. She is published in the Filipino American Artist Directory, and is currently training as a Visionary Responder for the Sanctuaries, a non profit organization in Washington DC whose mission is to ignite the power of the sacred arts for social and political change.
