2nd Sat. Workshop: Art on the Rocks

Posted on: Sep 17

Rock on at our next 2nd Saturday Workshop on October 14! Join Art Enables and Studio In-Sight resident artist Joanne Dvorsky as we utilize day-to-day materials as tools to paint our very own palm stones. Palm stones are polished oval stones that can be used for crystal healing, meditation, and many other esoteric healing practices. Drop-in anytime between 1 and 4 p.m. to create your hand-held masterpiece. All ages and artistic abilities are welcome at our free, family-friendly workshops. Light refreshments will be provided.

About the Facilitator
Joanne Dvorsky is a self-taught jewelry maker and has taken fine arts classes at Montgomery College. She hopes that with time and practice she will grow as an artist. She thrives on experimenting with different media in traditional and non-traditional subjects. Joanne is an exceptional planner but is also adept at letting projects go where they need to go. “It’s an organic process. I don’t know what other people feel, but for me, the urge to create is like an itch. Or like having OCD, where you are driven to do something or bring order out of it and/or release from chaos.”
