To see the laughing children, the round-eyed sun glowing broadly from the upper corner and the smiling family and friends which people Payman’s artwork, one would never guess that as a teenager he suffered a traumatic brain injury which left him physically damaged and unable to speak. Now, at 27, Payman is telling his stories on the canvas and very much enjoying the recognition and applause his energetic and colorful artwork attracts.
