Charles has a prodigious memory, an uncanny eye for geography and a broad-ranging interest in people and the media, in particular radio. In his artwork, Charles typically draws the image with sharpie and enhances it with watercolor. He then adds a stream of consciousness commentary that elucidates just how the moment captured in the frame relates to current events and the trajectory of his own personal history.
